What is Telos?
Problems we solve
Whether you are launching a startup, scaling a growth business, or planning to exit a mature company, maintaining a simple and executable business financial plan is critical.
Technology give us access to more information and data analytics than we can process. Without a well-defined strategic business plan, owners fall victim to decision fatigue and analysis paralysis.
One of the core responsibilities of an leader is to develop the next generation of leaders. This is not simply for companies preparing for exit but a mindset of stewardship for the benefit of all stakeholders.

My purpose is to help creative leaders figure out how to leave a mark.
My promise is to always challenge you to choose well
Greg is a serial entrepreneur and started his first business nearly 30 years ago.
In the summer of 2006, he found himself at the peak of his profession career as a Vice President for Goldman Sachs, the premier brand within the investment banking and wealth management industry. He was 36 years old. Personally, he was miserable, and his marriage was on the rocks.
During the next six months, he began his purpose journey to truly understand the unique impact he was designed to have on this world. In December of that year, he spent the weekend in a cabin in the mountains in North Georgia with a handful of books and a series of self-reflection exercises. Before he left, he discovered his personal purpose...his 'why'.
Greg's purpose is to help creative leaders figure out how to leave a mark. His promise is to always challenge you to choose well.
Upon his return, he designed and presented a new role for his division at Goldman Sachs to better pursue his purpose. When his manager wouldn't accommodate this role change, he quit his job to launch a boutique tax and financial planning firm, Daniel Advisors. During the next thirteen years, Greg grew the practice from a handful of clients to a firm serving forty-five households and managing $110M of investment assets.
In January 2020, he sold Daniel Advisors and formerly retired as a personal financial planner after 25 years in the industry. He now serves other leaders, founders, and entrepreneurs integrating purpose-centered leadership and decision-making to grow their business and leave their mark.
Greg received his undergraduate degree in Finance and MBA from Georgia State University. He and his wife, Katherine, will soon celebrate their 30th anniversary and have three purpose-centered adult children. Although he no longer practices personal financial planning, Greg has maintained his designation as a Certified Financial Planner ™ professional in addition to becoming a Certified Exit Planning Advisor and Certified Purpose Mentor ™.
